“Some kissing day, huh?”

Although for some it was just a silly holiday, Aidou seemed quite disappointed with the results.
No girl had approached him.

“I would’ve gotten millions of kisses if I was back at Cross Academy.” Aidou whispered to himself and he let out a loud sigh.

Perhaps it was because he wasn’t that well known in this school, or maybe the girls here had different interests in guys. Whatever the reason was, he wanted to win them over.

He kept pondering about why not even one girl had approached him, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed across his chest.

It was then when he noticed a person, among the crowd. They were looking at Aidou directly in the eye. Perhaps he was thinking out loud and they had over heard him? 
However, it still startled him and their direct stare made him rather uncomfortable.

 He took a few steps towards the stranger. “Hello, there.. May I help you?” 

She had been doing her homework on one of the picnic tables outside, in the middle of the courtyard. She’d been working on it for some time now, and her attention span was beginning to wear thin. Her gaze lifted away from the assignment in front of her and roamed through the crowd. Around her, there were one or two couples kissing. 

The mechanic attributed it to some stupid holiday. Winry scoffed quietly and tapped her pencil on the tabletop. Blue eyes landed on a blonde male standing away from everyone else, leaning against a wall. He seemed rather put off by the events, too.  Winry saw his lips move, was he talking to himself? That was kind of strange. Suddenly, he was pushing himself away from the wall and walking towards her. She blinked and stared back down at her work, realizing that she’d been staring.

“Hello, there.. May I help you?” 

Winry glanced up at him. He was actually kind of cute. Quickly, she pushed those thoughts aside and shook her head. “Ah, no I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to stare, I was doing my homework and my mind started to wander.” She placed her pencil down, and smiled lightly. “Actually, I’m still a little tired of homework, would you mind distracting me for a while? I mean, it’s fine if you have something else to do, though.”
